Fábrica La Isleta is an artistic platform that emerged six years ago in the heart of ‘La Isleta’ quarter. It promotes & encourages creativity & jazz education with talented youngsters. One of the first instrumental combos was formed by the musicians who we can listen to in representation of the ‘Fábrica La Isleta’. As of today, all of them are furthering their musical studies abroad.The platform’s director José Alberto Medina gets them together again to offer us a fresh & varied repertoire
From the vocal aspect we feature both male & female young voices to give us a more authentic jazz vocal performance. Their singing tutor & director, Cristina James, will coordinate the vocal section of the show. Undoubtedly the input & contribution of the Fabrica la Isleta to Canarian jazz is reflected in the quality of these musicians between the ages of 16 to 22 years
